Lunasa or Lughnasadh (loo-nah-sah) is a Celtic Harvest Festival in honor of the ancient sun god Lugh. Lunasa was not only a time to bless the fruits of harvest, it was also a time for laughter, dancing and the celebration of life. At Lunasa we honor these traditions and invite you to celebrate them with us.

After a brilliant World Cup it's only been a short break before all of the major leagues in Europe are due to start. The annual curtain raiser in England is the Community Shield, which pits the winners of the Premier League, Manchester City, against the winners
of the FA CUP, Arsenal.

We are very excited to have the game live at 10am
on Sunday, August 10th.

Much as Americans might like to believe that every pub in Ireland is musty, dark and ancient.... the Irish theme is minimalist: the copper and bronze tones and soft lighting recall Ireland at summer harvest time...
